Frequently asked questions
What is a liveaboard dive trip?
A liveaboard is a boat you live on for several days while diving. You sleep, eat, and dive from the same vessel, allowing access to remote sites and multiple dives per day without returning to shore.
Do I need to be an experienced diver?
Most liveaboard routes welcome any certified diver, though some remote or deeper sites are better suited to Advanced Open Water divers. We'll match you to the right trip for your experience level.
When is the best time to go?
The Silverbank Expedition is a summer diving liveaboard, running June through August — it is a diving trip, and no whale watching is done at the Silver Bank. Our separate whale-watching adventure runs during the Dominican Republic's humpback season, January through March. Contact us for current schedules.
What's included in the price?
Liveaboard packages typically include cabin accommodation, all meals, guided dives, tanks, and weights. Equipment rental, nitrox, and gratuities may be additional. Full details are confirmed at booking.
